The Care Fellowship
Caring Across Generations believes in the power of organized people.
The Care Fellowship is a leadership development and recruitment project that cultivates the advocacy and communications skills of family caregivers. Our Care Fellows represent some of the most dedicated caregiver activists in the Caring Across Generations network. Led by their innate expertise drawn from their lived experiences and ideas, Care Fellows are changing the way caregiving is seen, valued, and supported in the United States. In 2019, we started the fellowship with only 8 fellows, and have grown it into a multi-racial, intergenerational cohort of 20!

In 2020, Caring Across Votes drove change for a caring future at the ballot box. We exceeded our goal of calling 15,000 voters and called 18,419 low-propensity caregivers and voters of color. We also met and exceeded our goal of texting 10,000 registered voters and texted 18,000 voters to help get them out to the polls!
Now, in Summer of 2021, we're launching a mini-cohort of prior Care Fellows to continue building our base of family caregivers and engage them in extensive spokesperson training.
In Fall of 2021, we will build on our prior successes with a new cohort of 20 fellows.
